When Elyse Buchman, owner of The Stony Brookside Bed & Bike Inn, reached out to Weller Smith Design, she, and her husband Marty, had recently purchased property to turn it into the first-ever, Bed & Bike Inn on Long Island. They wanted to take their love for biking and create a place where other biking enthusiasts could stay and enjoy the beauty of their area. They came to WSD looking for help to create their brand and online presence, and our team was excited to help develop this unique start-up.

The Requirements

Create a unique brand that would resonate with a specific target audience as well as reflect the personality of the new business owners and their vibrant lifestyle
Design an engaging and fun online presence that will support the brand positioning determined in the branding phase
Develop a mobile-friendly, flexible, and easy-to-update website
Research and implement a user-friendly Booking solution

To bring a full brand to life that has such personality was rewarding and super fun for the WSD team. We love that Elyse and Marty allowed us to get creative. By weaving elements from their brick-and-mortar location into their new digital home, we were able to create a cohesive brand experience across their online and offline spaces. They also gave us the opportunity to try new things and create some pretty cool collateral like bike shirts, signage for the Inn, marketing materials, and more.
