I met Monica Lee through a book project that we worked on for Stewart, Tabori, and Chang. We hired her for her flirty, fun, and classically chic illustration style. A few years later, she reached out to collaborate with me on a planner collection that she wanted to produce. She provided all the art and I set the pages up and we published it through Amazon’s CreateSpace (now KDP).
This was one of the very first projects that I created through self-publishing, print-on-demand, services and I am so thankful for the opportunity as it has opened up a whole new world of possibility when it comes to serving my clients.
I loved working on these with her and I think the fact that she did not publish a “book”, but created a “product” that could serve her audience. I still have these notebooks and I loved the planner because there was so much space to write….hoping she revisits these soon, and I know you would love one too!
